Dr. La’Kerri Jackson is a global social impact executive and women's ambassador, with her most recent role as the Global Director of Social Impact for a Fortune 50 multi-national corporation. She has strategically planned and led multi-million dollar investments and projects in the areas of economic empowerment, diversity, education, inclusion, and more.
Her worked has reached over 20 countries and regions throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. In her prior role as a diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner, La’Kerri influenced organizational culture as she reinforced the broader DEI strategy to promote a fair, inclusive, and authentic workplace for over 500,000 employees by leading the company’s two hundred Business Resource Groups across the globe.
In 2020, La'Kerri joined forces with a financial institution to launch the African Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative (TAWEEI). To date, TAWEEI has transformed the lives of over 4,000 women and their families in Uganda.
La’Kerri has, also, served on the board of directors and provided thought leadership to Career Rise, National Black Child Development Institute, Caring for Others, Women Impacting A Nation, and the Global Village Project, which is the only school in the country dedicated to educating refugee girls who have had their education interrupted.
Through consulting, she works with executive teams in corporations, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and government sectors to execute high-impact global strategies.
